Our New Direction
We have had an incredible journey with Flannel Foxes, starting in October 2014 with an idea of recreating men’s looks that we saw on Pinterest. We executed a handful of recreations over a weekend and set up an Instagram account to show all of you that women can easily wear these styles and that we encourage to borrow from the boys. Fast forward 2 years, we’ve created a full blog, online store and have been selling our goods at markets around our hometown.
Lake Life
I just spent a beautiful week driving around Vancouver Island with my friend David. We lived and camped out of the van and drove from Victoria to Tofino and back. These photos were taken in Port Alberni, British Columbia. They feature the fox pocket t, oatmeal t and black toque.
90's Nirvana
I recently bought a couple of crop tops from Garage, and I've been incorporating them into my summer style. I wanted to throw it back to the 90's by pairing them with my boyfriend jeans and plaid shirts. It's an easy way to transition the crop top from summer to fall!
Going Home
Brittni and I grew up on an acreage outside of Edmonton. We're farm kids at heart. Our teenage summers were spent around a bonfire, and we shared a job at the Edmonton Corn Maze for 6 years together. We were "Corn Cops" ... yes really. The Corn Maze is such a special place, not only cause we worked (and practically lived) there for 6 years, but because it really felt like a second family. We went home for a visit & photoshoot this week with some friends to show you just how special this place is to us.
