Tomboy style has sure evolved over the years, but a lot of things have stayed the same- a cool pair of sneakers, lots of denim, a basic tee and of course the button down shirt. I have put together a timeline of some tomboy icons, from actress Katharine Hepburn in the 1950's to Kristen Stewart in 2016, to really show the effortless approach to tomboy fashion. This proves that "borrowing from the boys" is not just a trend now and will live on through the decades to come!
