Last weekend I got to get out of town with some of my favourite people for the weekend. I'm so lucky to live so close to the Rocky Mountains, an absolutely beautiful place that never gets easier to drive away from. We stayed in probably the most beautiful house I've ever seen in Canmore, Alberta - just outside of Banff. (we may have screamed at our friend for not inviting us out sooner ...we're good people) The days were filled with backcountry hikes and evenings filled with ridiculous drinking games which somehow ended with me wearing the boy's clothes.... not that I really minded. ;) I sported the Flannel Foxes Tank on our hikes and my friend Jen rocked our scalp saving Snapback! There's something so wonderful about getting out of the city. I need to remind myself to do this more often.
