For our February long weekend, we took a trip to visit my mom who lives in North Vancouver, BC. We had heard about the Deep Cove area from her, and wanted to see for ourselves.
Quarry Rock is a short hike, less than 1 hour from the trailhead gives you an incredible view. The hike itself is beautiful, complete with all the big trees and tiny bridges you could dream of. Perfect for beginner hikers too.
Once you reach the peak, you overlook the entire bay & town of Deep Cove. I will warn you, this is a very popular hike. Try to avoid weekends if you can!
After making your way back down (after a dozen or so insta worthy shots) be sure to treat yourself to a donut from Honey's (seriously, dont miss this)
